In keeping with current ceramic trends, “Core Shade” is a stoneware product
with a highly textural appearance, an effect heightened by a ribbed
motif that deepens
the surface finish.

to other subtle or earthier shades), five formats (150x75, 75x75, 120x60, 60x60, 60x30 cm) and two thicknesses (8 or 11 mm), offering plenty of scope

Fake Più che di fake sarebbe corretto parlare di re-enactment in quanto non si tratta di semplice riproduzione di textures, ma della riedizione del materiale ceramico, scaturito da una ricerca profonda che prosegue nella realtà del processo industriale, fatto di campio- nature fotografiche e morfologiche, verifiche, correzioni di lucentezze e opacità. Quanto al marmo, si mostra materiale duttile, leggero, di- vertente, illimitato nelle possibilità performative. Boiserie a effetto legno, maglia o capitonné parlano di una progettualità liberata, di un cambiamento di orizzonti, di interpretazioni che percorrono nuovi processi artigianali.

E nel perfetto inserimento di incavi e sporgenze del marmo – che è procedura tipica delle costruzioni di legno – sta il primo livello di straniamento. Cui segue quello della lavorazione che, valendosi di superfici lisce, a pettine, matelassé, determina la metamorfosi estetica del materiale, come già è stato per “Marblelace”, la raffinata boiserie a maglia intrecciata.
The tongue-and-groove process typically used in carpentry is transferred
to marble. Another unusual feature of this product is the use of smooth, combed texture and matelassé effects to transform the look of the material, an effect previously seen on the elegant weave-effect boiserie panel “Marblelace”.

Evoluzione di “Raw”, texture disegnata in precedenza da Piero Lissoni, questo marmo a finitura spigata trasferisce su pietra l’aspetto del tessuto, da cui prende il nome.
È pensato per posa verticale,
a tutta parete – con lastre
di 20x90 cm – o come boiserie, preferibilmente accompagnata da una zoccolatura
e da una cornice perimetrale, per un’altezza di 110 cm.

This interesting textured finish gives marble the appearance of fabric, from which
the name. It is designed
as a wall cladding (the panels measure 20x90 cm),
