Eccoci. Siamo tornati. Siamo molto diversi da prima. Abbiamo un nuovo formato e una nuova grafica, ma soprattutto abbiamo una nuova prospettiva. Abbiamo scelto di cam- biare il punto di vista perché non pensiamo di sapere già tutto quello che c’è da raccon- tare. Ci mettiamo dalla parte di chi ha il desi- derio di conoscere e la voglia di scoprire. Per
questo ci appassionano
che i personaggi; ci incu-
riosiscono le relazioni che
ciascuno stabilisce con
gli oggetti, con gli edifici,
con i luoghi; ci interessa
comprendere i processi
più che giudicarne gli esi-
ti. Abbiamo un obiettivo
ambizioso, promuovere
nel mondo la cultura ita-
liana del progetto, ovvero
quella capacità di parlare
e comprendere più lin-
guaggi, di creare connes-
sioni, di unire tradizione e
innovazione, cultura e tecnologia, umanità e bellezza. Lo faremo includendo, raccoglien- do i contributi di molti, costruendo una gran- de rete internazionale che alimenterà il no- stro racconto con buone idee e belle storie.

Here we are. Back again. But in a very dif- ferent way from before. We have a new for- mat and a new graphic design, but above all we have a new outlook. We have chosen to change our vantage point because we do not think we know everything that there is to talk about. We’re going to be on the side of those who have the desire to know and the need to discover things. For this reason
we are more interested in ideas than in person- alities; we are intrigued by the relationships that each of us establishes with objects, with build- ings and with places; we want to understand pro- cesses rather than judge their results. We have an ambitious goal, to pro- mote Italian design cul- ture into the world, to draw people’s attention to its ability to speak and
understand many languages, to create connections and to bring together tradi- tion and innovation, culture and technolo- gy, humanity and beauty. We will do this by being inclusive, by collecting many contri- butions and by constructing a broad inter- national network that will feed us with good ideas and great stories
